The new 2010 Roush Mustang Stage 3, takes its rightful place on top of the Roush line up. Often called their "Halo" car it is surely every sense of the word. It starts with a modified version of the 4.6 aluminum block V-8, which has many of the internal components modified to handle extreme horse power and torque, 540hp and 510lb-ft.

Roush takes the Ford 4.6 and replaces almost everything inside, components include a TVS Technology supercharger, intake manifolds, cold air induction system, intercooler, forged aluminum pistons , forged steel connecting rods, forged steel crankshaft, high flow fuel injectors, and fuel rail. This is no ordinary mustang folks, we are talking a race car for the road! The return of the Roush Stage 3 suspension system capable of pulling over 1g on the skid pad. A supercharged 4.6L aluminum block V-8 which produces 430hp and 400 ft-lbs of torque provides the grunt, and a full Stage 3 suspension set up provides the grip.

The Stage 3 in the Roush line up is the most extreme of Roush Stages. Each 4.6L V-8 is modified by hand at the Roush factory by a certified Roush technician. Besides the supercharger each engine has a specially modified intake manifold, large intercooler up front, and a Rouch calibrated ECM unit.
